They come in the usual white, as well as black, and genuine south sea pearls are sold with a certificate. Although freshwater pearls come in a wider range of colors, south sea pearls are often more beautiful and are of better quality. Mikimoto is a beautiful, well-known brand that specializes in pearl jewelry, and can be found on Bidz. Miss America even wore a Mikimoto tiara covered in gorgeous pearls. Another brand that sells South Sea pearls is Autore, and each piece of jewelry comes with a certificate verifying its authenticity.
