When you sign up for a Bidz.com account, one decision you’ll have to make is what you would like your username to be. Your username is the name other bidders will see as you make your bids. The username is essentially your Bidz.com identity.
For example, if you click on the “Register” button at the top of the website, the first box you’ll be asked to fill in is your username. The example the website gives is “winner777.” What you choose your username to be, however, is completely up to you!
It’s interesting to click through the auctions and check out some of the usernames other Bidz.com users have chosen.
Some are descriptive. For example, I came across one called “futurefamilyheirlooms.” From that name you can assume the bidder is looking to add items to his or her collection which will be cherished in the family for years to come.
Others may be a jumble of someone’s initials mixed with their lucky numbers. They may even be the user’s real name (e.g. johndoe).
Whatever you choose, have fun with it. Take a few minutes to come up with a name you’ll like to use as you make your bid on that gorgeous pair of diamond earrings or a piece of fine art.

Bidding on products in our online jewelry auction is more fun than you might know! If you’d like to take a glimpse of just how exciting it might be, turn on your speakers and choose a product that has just a few minutes before the auction ends.
Just this morning I was checking out a men’s ring. The ring had four minutes of bid time left. During those four minutes, the price of the ring went from $23 to $28 to $36 to $55 and finally ended at $62. There were three bidders holding a full-on bidding war over this men’s ring!
Every time someone bids on a product you’re looking at, you will hear a “ding.” Each ding raises the price of the auction $1. If someone bids on an auction during the last 10 seconds of the auction, the time jumps back up to 15 seconds. This can carry on forever; it only ends when someone gives up or the auction surpasses the budget they had set for that piece. So be aware: you may find yourself caught up in a bid war!
Check our auctions daily and bid on pieces you love. Be ready to fight for your jewelry; let your hair down and have a fun time!
