When you read the word “crystals” what comes to mind? The answer to this question will likely be different for everyone.

For me, I first think of this gorgeous crystal chandelier my grandmother had while I was growing up. I always dreamed of taking one of the dangling crystals when no one was looking but—the wonderfully obedient child I was—I never would have actually done such a thing. Certainly stealing from grandma and defiling her chandelier would have resulted in years of guilt (and most likely weeks of being grounded or having to clean grandma’s house from top to bottom to make up for stealing the crystal).
