This ring is inspired by historical times; it resembles the type of ring you’d have seen on a Catholic bishop or other religious leader in medieval times. The modern craftsmanship, however, surely rivals that of the medieval times!
For starters, this ring is made of platinum—a modern metal to say the least. The ring includes a gorgeous, large 2.01 carat champagne colored round cut diamond center. Surrounding the champagne center are 22 round cut diamonds and 12 blue princess cut sapphires. The total carat weight is a sparkling 3.31 carats of precious gems.
Today, this ring is thought of as a cocktail ring. It’s more of an accessory than an everyday piece but wear it as you will, ladies! The retail value of this gorgeous ring is $25,439.00. Bid now for your chance to wear an antique-inspired modern beauty.

I blogged yesterday about one men’s accessory—the cuff link. Another men’s accessory we sometimes neglect to remember is the tie tack.
For those of you who don’t know exactly what a tie tack is, let me tell you. A tie tack is made of two parts—the pin and the back, which has attached to it a chain and bar. A tie tack is worn by piercing the pin through the tie, then connecting the back and slipping the chain/bar through one of the button holes on your shirt.
Essentially, a tie tack keeps a man’s tie in place. The tie is basically anchored to the shirt so it doesn’t flutter in the wind or end up in his dinner. Tie tacks are not as formal as cuff links and can be worn more often and even in more casual atmospheres.
This tie tack by Dolan Bullock is crafted of 14K yellow gold and has a brilliant cut white diamond center. The size of the pin itself is 9mm in width and 13mm in length. This is a great way for men to add a subtle bit of class to their ensemble.

Today’s women are getting funkier with their wedding rings, as seen in this gorgeous modern piece. Though the metal may be shaped differently, the key component (aka: diamonds) still stands firm.
This ladies engagement ring is made of solid 14K white gold. It features a white princess cut 0.90 carat diamond center. The details in the metal are actually on the inside of the ring—sort of a hidden surprise. Dotting the sides of the ring are 84 round cut white diamonds. If anything, this baby certainly sparkles!
If you’re on the lookout for the perfect engagement/wedding ring, look no further than Bidz.com. This particular ring is valued at $5,890.00 retail. It’s a size US-6.5/EU-13.16. Good luck!
