“My work stems from a fascination of the structure of objects that surrounds us. Whether it is man made or natural, the underlying structure of an object determines how it will look. It is a revealing process, removing the skin from an object to see the structure beneath.

This translates into my jewelry and I draw inspiration from everyday objects which stretch from one end of the spectrum to the other. A leaf for example has many different elements in its make up but yet it is one of the simplest forms, my jewellery exaggerates these forms. The forms become more regular and geometric through the process of design.

I utilise computer based technologies and combine them with traditional jewellery making skills to produce work that would arguably not exist otherwise.”
