When we were first dating, my husband came across a Movado watch with a sleek design and gorgeous blue backing. Naturally he fell in love with it and had to have it. Since he didn’t want to drop the $1,000.00 on it (rather I wouldn’t allow him to do so!) he bargained with his parents to purchase it for him as a college graduation gift. Instead they purchased tickets to Hawaii for both of us and I can’t say there are any regrets!
I will say, however, my husband has wonderful taste in a timepiece. Movado watches are sleek and stunning. They are made of the finest materials and made to last—both in function and fashion. This particular piece is made of stainless steel and is valued at $1,995.00 retail.
The auction reads, “Movado is known as the museum watch, Movado has over a century of design innovation in time technology. Some of Movado’s designs are art pieces unto themselves and appear in museums all over the world. Movado, meaning “always in motion,” has held its place at the height of innovation and distinction as a luxury watch brand. Movado watches are created by adept watchmakers to meet the austere standards of Swiss time technology. Movado watches, a supporter of the arts, has been the beneficiary of over 200 international awards.”
