That’s right. Recent jewelry news is that Nicole Richie, daughter of singer Lionel Richie, new mother of one and sometimes friend of Paris Hilton will be introducing her new jewelry line in Fall 2008.

Yes, it seems every star and starlette today has chosen the multiple-lines-of-income way of life. Having connections can make you a singer, a writer, an actor/actress and apparently even a designer of jewelry, clothing and whatever else you might fancy.

Richie’s plans include a jewelry line of 50 pieces (to begin with, of course). The line will consist of fashion jewelry, but certainly won’t be priced for the faint hearted!
