Perhaps one of the simplest and most variable ways to express yourself is through your jewelry collection. Jewelry can work to dress and outfit up or down. It can be layered for dramatics or worn alone for beautiful simplicity. It comes in all colors, shapes and sizes—not to mention carat weights…
Bracelets happen to be one of the most diverse types of jewelry a woman (or man) can accumulate without completely breaking the bank. Bracelets are easy to mix and match, put on, take off, stack together, etc. They come in metals, fabrics, plastics and elastics. They can be adorned with the highest quality jewels and gems or can be simple, wallet-friendly fashion jewelry. They can even be worn during exercise (aka: tennis bracelet—just because your forehead is sweating doesn’t mean your wrist can’t look gorgeous)!
There have been very few times where I have seen someone’s bracelet and questioned its existence. Adults can wear them, kids can wear them; men and women alike can share a love for bracelets. So what’s stopping you from experimenting a little with your jewelry collection? Jewelry is after all the best accessory you can have, aside from your shining personality. Be brave—there’s a world of variety just waiting for you to jump in!

The tennis bracelet gained it’s namesake from an accident that occurred during the 1987 U.S. Open. Pro tennis champ Chris Evert was wearing a gorgeous diamond bracelet which accidentally broke during the game (imagine that). The match was interrupted to allow Evert to recover her tumbling diamonds. Thus it became known as the tennis bracelet!
Though it is still worn by tennis stars like Serena Williams during matches, the tennis bracelet is a favorite accessory by many a woman—athletic or otherwise. It’s simple enough to wear for almost any occasion with almost any outfit, but classy enough to solely accessorize a gown on the red carpet.
Check out online jewelry auction daily for great deals on top quality tennis bracelets. But do be careful if you wear them during athletic events!
